Bloomfield College President Hosts ACE Women’s Network-New Jersey Leaders in Higher Education

Bloomfield College President Marcetta P. Evans, PhD, hosted the American Council on Education (ACE) Women’s Network-New Jersey recently at the college’s Westminster Arts Center.

More than 50 higher education leaders representing northern and central New Jersey public and private and two-year and four-year institutions of higher education came together to network and develop supportive relationships with plans to advance their professional careers.

President Evans, who has served as the ACE Women’s Network-NJ Presidential Sponsor since 2021, welcomed the spirited group, saying, “It’s so important for women to support other women, and today’s region bringing together women who have risen to leadership roles in higher education to train and mentor those who will come after them is inspiring to me. it is. I couldn’t be happier to be the host institution for Epidemic ACE-NJ’s first in-person event.

ACE Women’s Network-NJ provides physical and virtual professional development activities for women leaders in higher education. The organization’s next event, annual Women of Color SymposiumIt is scheduled for December 2, 2022 from 12-2 p.m An alternative virtual network as a virtual event follows the symposium.
